RECLAIMED WOOD

Reclaimed Wood Countertops are an eco-friendly option that pairs well with all style of homes. This material provides rich, stunning beauty to the space, and is available in a variety of species, styles and colours.

Maintenance:  Due to wood's porous nature, it's important that all spills are wiped up immediately to prevent the liquid from seeping in. To clean, spray a dedicated wood cleaner onto a sponge and wipe surface gently. Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach as they will damage the wood. 

BUTCHER BLOCK

Wood has been used in butcher shops for centuries and still is in many European countries. Increasingly, a version of the butcher block is also being used in domestic kitchens as an alternative to stone and laminate worktops. This created a new industry in kitchen design. Could be made in several different spieces of solid wood, it adds a warm touch to any concept. 

 

Maintenance: It must be oiled for correct use. BUT THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED AROUND THE SINK.

LIVE EDGE WOOD ​

 

Countertops can be constructed from several species of hard/solid wood. It adds a warm touch to any concept.

 

Maintenance: It must be oiled for proper use or varnished if it is not an area where you will be preparing food.

THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED AROUND THE SINK.
